In pursuance of Federal Cabinet approval dated 07.2.2017, the Federal Cabinet approved the recommendations of the Ministry of SAFRON, pertaining to the documentation of unregistered Afghans. Afghan Nationals were processed and registered by NADRA, Government of Pakistan, and subsequently issued Afghan Citizen Card (ACC).
Accordingly, 88,299 Afghan Nationals were registered in Punjab during Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) exercise (from 16.8.2017 till 28.2.2018) for the documentation of un-registered Afghans in Punjab. As per Federal Cabinet Notification dated 27.6.2019, the validity in respect of ACC Card has been extended up to 31.10.2019.
